In an era of rapid globalization, diseases transcend borders, making global health an urgent priority for nations. This article provides a comprehensive introduction to global health, examining the historical evolution, core challenges such as infectious diseases, non-communicable diseases (NCDs), health disparities, and the role of international organizations like the World Health Organization (WHO) and global initiatives. The article also discusses the importance of sustainable health interventions, equitable healthcare access, and collaborations between governments, NGOs, and private sectors.
