Navigating Change Management in Education: The role of Strategic Leadership in Digital Learning and Technology Integration

Rapid growth of digital technologies has transformed the educational settings rapidly from traditional teaching and learning to virtual, hybrid and technology driven classrooms by creating new opportunities as well as challenges for the educational organizations. This transforming era needs leaders to be adaptive towards strategic leadership so institutions can manage the change effectively. The primary objective of this study is to explore the leadership strategies which assist in successful digital transformation within educational settings. The research also examines the challenges that are faced by educational leaders throughout the adoption of digital technologies and assesses the influence of leadership practices on teaching efficiency, student engagement, and development of institutions. A qualitative research design has employed to achieve a broad understanding of the whole process, The sample of the research consisted of 30 educational leaders, including principals, department heads, deans, and administrators from schools, colleges, and higher education institutions who had lately experienced digital transformation or stayed in the process of integrating digital technologies into educational practices. The research concludes that strategic leadership is a fundamental factor in navigating transformation management and encouraging successful digital learning environments in educational settings. The study contributes to the previous literature by providing a broad comprehension of leadership performs in digitalized education and also by highlighting the significance of human and institutional factors along with technological implementation. The study also mentions that educational institutions should invest in leadership improvement programs, personalized training, and strategic approaches to reshape leaders for the growing demands of the digital age. Future studies should further explore the long-standing impacts of strategic leadership on educational outcomes and observe digital transformation practices in diverse socio-economic and educational contexts.
