Abstract

This article presents an analytical study of Semeen Kiran's short story "Maulvi Sahab Ki Daak" in the context of gender equality. The story highlights the roots of the patriarchal system, where women's voices are suppressed, and their desires are ignored. The character of Maulvi Sahab symbolizes male dominance, dismissing women's identity and emotions as insignificant. The article sheds light on how Semeen Kiran, through this story, reflects a woman's inner suffering and societal oppression.
