Abstract

Health informatics is an interdisciplinary field that combines healthcare, information technology, and data analytics to improve patient care and health outcomes. "Health Informatics: An Interprofessional Approach" explores the critical role of health informatics in modern healthcare systems, emphasizing its applications in electronic health records (EHRs), telemedicine, data management, and decision support systems. This article provides a comprehensive overview of the fundamental concepts, tools, and methodologies used in health informatics. It discusses the importance of collaboration among various healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and health information technologists, in leveraging health informatics to enhance patient care delivery.
