Abstract

Global health is a multidisciplinary field focused on understanding and addressing health issues that transcend national boundaries. "Global Health 101" provides a comprehensive overview of the essential concepts, challenges, and strategies within global health. This article explores the historical context of global health, key determinants of health, and the impact of globalization on health outcomes. It emphasizes the importance of collaboration among various stakeholders, including governments, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and international agencies, in tackling pressing health issues such as infectious diseases, non-communicable diseases (NCDs), and health equity. The article also discusses major global health initiatives, frameworks, and policies that aim to improve health outcomes worldwide.
